Women Leadership and Excellence Awards (WLEA)
Middle – East and the UAE Economy are undergoing a Cultural Shift. The attitudes, mindset, and orientation of the current generation (specially women) is shifting from job to an enterprise at a very rapid phase. As an important step to catalyse a cultural shift in women for entrepreneurship, MICE Quotient has instituted the Women Leadership and Excellence Awards (WLEA) to recognise and honor outstanding women Leaders & Organisations and their Ecosystem Builders for their incredible contribution in Leadership & Entrepreneurship development. WLEA will also recognises women actively advocating Diversity and Inclusion, Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) in Organizations.
The Women Leadership and Excellence Awards (WLEA) 2020 is a part of the 5th edition of The Arab Women In Leadership and Business (AWILB) series, the only conference dedicated to Arab women Leaders and it is running successfully from past 5 years. MICE Quotient realises the need for not just celebrating Women Leaders but also recognizing their achievements though the 5th Edition of The Arab Women in Leadership and Business Summit 2020. The WLEA seeks the participation of Leaders, Organisations and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Builders from across UAE. It seeks to instil and entrench the entrepreneurial attitude among the future generations and the female Youth of UAE.
A total of 16 Awards under WLEA 2020 have been carefully considered to enable participation of women achievers of any age and their ecosystem builders across sectors, geographies, and socio-economic background through the process of nomination.
Winners will receive a Trophy, Certificate, in a high-profile Award Ceremony proposed to be held on 6th February 2020. WLEA will also open opportunities for brands and businesses to rub shoulders with the region’s corporate elite, including industry titans, government officials and entrepreneurs.
