ABOUT
Ghada is the first Emirati to secure a multi crew pilot license (MPL) from the prestigious Alpha Aviation Academy in Sharjah, UAE, and the first local female pilot to fly for Air Arabia.
With just 3-5% of pilots in the commercial aviation industry being women, Ghada is a truly millennial pilot helping lead the way for women in a male dominated industry.
Ghada graduated via the a multi crew pilot license (MPL) programme after 18 months and today has over 2500 hours of flying under her belt. With Air Arabia, where she now flies as a First Officer, she has flown to dozens of destinations across the world.
It was always Ghada’s dream to fly a plane – a dream she has only been able to fulfil thanks to the support of her family, her country, Alpha Aviation and Air Arabia.
Prior to becoming a pilot she studied Tourism Management in the UAE, before working at one of the UAE’s government ministries. She comes from a large Emirati family, and is the only one in her family to work in the Aviation sector.
