ABOUT
Dana Salloum joined Boeing Middle East in March 2009. She started as associate director, Business Development and Strategy and in 2014 moved on to be a regional manager for Government, Industry and Community Engagement. She supported the company’s growth and presence in key non-Saudi markets. Salloum worked closely with various Boeing businesses on strategy development and execution, industry partnerships and stakeholder relations. She also led the company’s corporate social responsibility and university-related activities in the region. In August 2015, Salloum transitioned to International Communications responsible for Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Salloum moved to Boeing from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE). She was responsible for Corporate Communications and Public Relations to position DAE in the aerospace industry. While in this position, she worked closely with Boeing in support of DAE’s order of 100 aircraft in 2007. Prior to that, Salloum was a senior account manager at Asdaa Public Relations in Dubai.
Dana graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in business administration from the University of Southern California in 2003. She earned a master’s degree in public communications from American University, Washington, D.C., in 2005.
Dana also served as the executive vice president of the American Business Council in Dubai and Northern Emirates and as a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce Abu Dhabi. She also volunteers with various nonprofit organizations. Her passion for volunteering is fueled by a desire to support those unable to meet their basic needs. As a result, Dana has been an avid supporter of programs focused on sustainable community development.
